Here at NPGC gymnasts are not moved through classes based on age, they are moved through based on skill level. However, we have age requirements for a few classes. (See class descriptions)
Towards the end of each session coaches will check gymnasts progress to determine if they stay in current class or move to the next class.
Keep in mind throughout your child’s time as a gymnast, that gymnastics is not a linear sport. Every child is different and will master their skills at a different pace. It is normal for gymnasts to be in a class multiple times to achieve the skill needed to move on to the next class.
Our coaches are committed to the safety and promotion of a healthy gym atmosphere where every athlete can find a path to their goals.
New Prague Gymnastics Club is a non-profit, community owned facility that is designed to provide a safe, fun gymnastics experience to its residents and those in the surrounding communities.
